What is CVE-2020-36898?

QiHang Media Web Digital Signage version 3.0.9 contains a vulnerability that allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary files on the server. This occurs through the QH.aspx endpoint, where attackers can exploit the 'data' parameter by sending crafted POST requests that include unauthorized file paths. Utilizing directory traversal sequences, attackers can circumvent authentication and gain control over file removal, potentially leading to significant disruptions in service and the integrity of web server data.
