What is CVE-2020-36944?

The ILIAS Learning Management System version 4.3 is susceptible to a server-side request forgery vulnerability. This flaw permits attackers to exploit the portfolio PDF export functionality, allowing them to craft a malicious script that initiates an XMLHttpRequest. By doing so, they may gain unauthorized access to local file contents, posing significant security risks for users and their data.
