What is CVE-2020-36961?

The 10-Strike Network Inventory Explorer 8.65 is susceptible to a buffer overflow vulnerability that arises from improper exception handling. This flaw permits remote attackers to craft a malicious file with specific padding that, when processed, can lead to arbitrary code execution on the vulnerable system.
