What is CVE-2020-36970?
PMB 5.6 has a vulnerability that enables attackers to read unauthorized system files by exploiting the 'chemin' parameter in the getgif.php script. By sending specially crafted requests, attackers can leverage the improper sanitization of file path inputs to access sensitive system files, such as /etc/passwd. This can lead to unauthorized access and potential compromise of the underlying system.
