What is CVE-2020-37041?

OpenCTI 3.3.1 is susceptible to a directory traversal attack via the static/css endpoint, where an unauthenticated attacker can exploit the system by sending specially crafted GET requests. This manipulation can allow the attacker to read arbitrary files from the server's filesystem, including sensitive files such as /etc/passwd, by using path traversal sequences in the URL. The issue has been validated on both Linux Mint and Windows 10, emphasizing the need for immediate remediation.
