What is CVE-2020-37059?

Popcorn Time 6.2.1.14 contains an unquoted service path vulnerability that could allow local non-privileged users to execute code with elevated system privileges. By placing malicious executables in the Program Files (x86) directory or system root, attackers may leverage this flaw to run harmful scripts during the service startup, granting them SYSTEM-level permissions. This poses significant risks to the integrity and security of the affected systems.
