What is CVE-2020-37079?

Wing FTP Server versions prior to 6.2.7 are susceptible to a cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability within its web administration interface. This security flaw enables an attacker to create a malicious HTML page that triggers unintended actions, such as deleting administrative user accounts without proper authorization. By exploiting this vulnerability, an attacker can effectively compromise the management of the FTP server, underscoring the importance of applying the latest security patches.
