What is CVE-2020-37097?
The Edimax EW-7438RPn 1.13 contains a vulnerability that allows unauthorized access to sensitive WiFi network configuration details. Through the wlencrypt_wiz.asp file, attackers can exploit this issue to retrieve critical information, including the WiFi network name and plaintext passwords stored in the device's configuration variables. This exposure poses a significant risk as attackers can easily compromise the network security if they gain access to this information.
