What is CVE-2020-37103?

DotNetNuke 9.5 is susceptible to a persistent cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability that allows attackers to upload harmful XML files containing executable scripts through the journal tools. This vulnerability permits normal users to upload files with XHTML namespace scripts, which can trigger arbitrary JavaScript execution in the browsers of unsuspecting users. This poses a significant risk as attackers may exploit it to bypass existing CSRF protections, leading to more severe security issues within the affected applications.
