What is CVE-2020-37120?

Rubo DICOM Viewer 2.0 has a buffer overflow vulnerability in its DICOM server name input field, which can be exploited by an attacker to overwrite the Structured Exception Handler (SEH). By crafting a specially designed text file containing malicious payload, attackers can trigger unauthorized remote code execution. This vulnerability poses a significant risk, allowing attackers to compromise the security of systems utilizing this software.
