What is CVE-2020-37140?

AIDA64 version 5.50.2100 is susceptible to a denial of service vulnerability that allows local attackers to manipulate the file open functionality. By generating a specific 450-byte buffer filled with repeated characters and pasting it into the file open dialog, attackers can trigger a crash of the application, potentially disrupting user workflows and affecting system stability.
