What is CVE-2020-37155?

Core FTP Lite 1.3 is susceptible to a buffer overflow vulnerability in the username input field. By supplying an oversized payload, such as a 7000-byte string of repeated 'A' characters, attackers can exploit this flaw to crash the application. This vulnerability does not require any additional interaction from the user, making it particularly concerning for operational stability.
