What is CVE-2020-37202?
NetworkSleuth version 3.0.0.0 is susceptible to a denial of service attack due to an improper validation of input data. Attackers can exploit this vulnerability by providing an excessively large registration key, which can exceed the application's buffer limits. Specifically, by entering a 1000-character payload in the registration key field, an attacker can trigger a crash of the application, rendering it unavailable for legitimate users. This type of attack may lead to disruption of services and potential loss of data integrity.
