What is CVE-2020-37204?
RemShutdown 2.9.0.0 has a vulnerability that allows attackers to exploit the registration key input by submitting a specially crafted payload. This attack can lead to an application crash, significantly affecting the usability of the product. By generating a 1000-character buffer and pasting it into the registration key field, attackers are able to trigger this failure, potentially disrupting operations for users accessing the application.
