What is CVE-2020-37226?

Joomla J2 JOBS version 1.3.0 is susceptible to an authenticated SQL injection vulnerability that enables authenticated users to alter database queries. This can be achieved through the manipulation of the 'sortby' parameter in POST requests directed at the administrator index. By injecting malicious values into this parameter, attackers can leverage automated tools to extract confidential database information, posing serious security risks for affected Joomla sites.
