What is CVE-2020-37230?
Syncplify.me Server version 5.0.37 is susceptible to an unquoted service path vulnerability in the SMWebRestServicev5 service. This flaw allows local attackers to escalate their privileges by inserting a malicious executable into the unquoted service path. When the service is restarted or the system is rebooted, the malicious executable can be executed with LocalSystem privileges, compromising the security of the system.
