What is CVE-2020-5370?
Dell EMC OpenManage Enterprise prior to version 3.4 is vulnerable to an arbitrary file overwrite, allowing a remote authenticated user with elevated privileges to exploit this flaw. By leveraging directory traversal sequences within crafted tar files, attackers can overwrite arbitrary files and potentially inject harmful RPMs. This manipulation poses a risk for denial of service or unauthorized actions within the system.
