What is CVE-2020-5520?
The Netprint App for iOS exhibits a significant security flaw by failing to adequately verify X.509 certificates from servers. This failure opens the door for man-in-the-middle attackers, who can exploit this vulnerability to spoof legitimate servers. As a result, attackers can intercept and potentially access sensitive user information by employing crafted certificates that the app does not recognize as untrustworthy.
