What is CVE-2020-5724?

The Grandstream UCM6200 series, prior to version 1.0.20.22, is susceptible to an SQL injection through the websockify endpoint of the HTTP server. This vulnerability enables remote, unauthenticated attackers to exploit the system by invoking the challenge action with specially crafted usernames. Consequently, attackers can potentially discover user passwords, posing significant security risks for affected systems.
