What is CVE-2020-5757?

The Grandstream UCM6200 series firmware up to version 1.0.20.23 is susceptible to an OS command injection vulnerability. This allows authenticated remote attackers to exploit the system by sending specially crafted HTTP POST requests to the UCM's 'New' API endpoint. By bypassing existing command injection mitigations, attackers can execute commands with root privileges, potentially compromising system integrity and exposing sensitive data.
