What is CVE-2020-5846?

An issue in Ahsay Cloud Backup Suite 8.3.0.30 allows unauthenticated attackers to exploit insecure file uploads. By manipulating the 'PUT /obs/obm7/file/upload' request with a base64-encoded pathname provided through the X-RSW-custom-encode-path HTTP header, attackers can upload malicious files to any server directory. This vulnerability permits the insertion of a JSP shell into the web server, granting complete system access under the context of an authenticated session, potentially compromising sensitive data and server integrity.
