What is CVE-2020-7011?
Elastic App Search versions prior to 7.7.0 are susceptible to a cross site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the Reference UI. This flaw occurs when document URLs are rendered unvalidated, allowing an attacker to inject malicious JavaScript if they can manipulate the URL content. Consequently, this could lead to the arbitrary execution of scripts in the browser of the victim, compromising user data and system integrity.
