What is CVE-2020-7248?

The libubox component in OpenWrt versions earlier than 18.06.7 and 19.x prior to 19.07.1 contains a vulnerability related to the serialization of tagged binary data in JSON format, which may allow an attacker to exploit the system by causing a stack-based buffer overflow.
