An access control vulnerability in Nextcloud Server allows users to download files that should be restricted. Specifically, versions prior to 18.0.1, 17.0.4, and 16.0.9 improperly handle download permissions, enabling unauthorized access to hide-download shares by simply appending '/download' to the URL. This flaw may expose sensitive information and poses a risk to data security.
