What is CVE-2020-8293?

A flaw in Nextcloud Server prior to versions 20.0.2, 19.0.5, and 18.0.11 allows users to bypass input validation when creating workflow rules. This exploitation results in the ability to store an unlimited amount of data, potentially overwhelming the system and leading to service disruptions. Such conditions can facilitate denial-of-service scenarios, especially during subsequent interactions with the affected rules, adversely affecting overall system performance and user experience.
