OpenStack Manila versions below 7.4.1 and between 8.0.0 to 8.1.1, as well as 9.0.0 to 9.1.1, are susceptible to an access control bypass. This vulnerability allows unprivileged users to view, update, delete, and share resources that they do not own, due to a flaw in the context-free lookup of UUIDs. Attackers can exploit this issue to create resources such as shared file systems and groups on share networks, leading to unauthorized resource management.
