What is CVE-2021-20488?

IBM Security Identity Manager 6.0.2 presents a significant vulnerability where an authenticated malicious user can exploit the system to alter the passwords of other users within a Windows Active Directory (AD) environment. This occurs when the IBM Security Identity Manager Windows Password Synch Plug-in is implemented and configured.
