Improper Access Control in ELECOM Routers
CVE-2021-20864
Summary
An improper access control vulnerability exists in specific ELECOM routers, whereby an unauthenticated attacker on the same network may exploit this flaw to bypass access restrictions. This may lead to the ability to start the telnet service and execute arbitrary operating system commands, posing significant risks to network security and integrity. Updates to the firmware are recommended to mitigate these risks.
