What is CVE-2021-21789?

A vulnerability in the IOBit Advanced SystemCare Ultimate driver allows local attackers to escalate privileges. The issue arises during the handling of Privileged I/O write requests within the driver's IOCTL interface. Specifically, a maliciously crafted IOCTL request can manipulate the input buffer parameters, enabling unauthorized access to system resources that should otherwise be protected. This could be exploited by an attacker to execute unauthorized commands or alter system settings.
