What is CVE-2021-21791?

An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the way the IOBit Advanced SystemCare driver processes Privileged I/O read requests. This vulnerability can be exploited by sending a specially crafted I/O request packet (IRP) that may lead to unauthorized access to privileged data within the driver context. As a result, it potentially exposes sensitive information from the kernel, allowing unprivileged users to gain access to critical device data through the IN instruction, which reads data from an I/O device. Proper security measures and patches are essential to mitigate the risks associated with this vulnerability.
