What is CVE-2021-21792?

An information disclosure vulnerability exists in the IOBit Advanced SystemCare Ultimate driver, specifically version 14.2.0.220. This flaw arises from the improper handling of Privileged I/O read requests, allowing specially crafted I/O request packets (IRPs) to perform privileged reads. As a result, sensitive kernel information may be inadvertently exposed to unprivileged users. This can potentially lead to unauthorized access to sensitive data related to connected devices, making it imperative for users to apply necessary patches and updates to safeguard their systems.
