What is CVE-2021-22004?

An issue was identified in SaltStack Salt prior to version 3003.3, where the salt minion installer accepts a configuration file from C:\salt\conf. If this file is present before the installer runs, it can be exploited by a malicious actor to manipulate the behavior of the salt minion software, potentially leading to unauthorized actions and security breaches.
