In Brave Desktop's versions 1.17 to 1.26.60, a vulnerability arises when the adblocking feature is activated and a proxy browser extension is employed. This issue causes the CNAME adblocking to issue DNS requests utilizing the system's DNS settings, rather than respecting the proxy settings specified by the extension, which can potentially lead to the exposure of sensitive user information.
