What is CVE-2021-25294?

The OpenCATS software versions up to 0.9.5-3 are susceptible to a vulnerability that enables remote code execution through the unsafe deserialization of user input. When the 'index.php?m=activity' requests are processed, the application calls the unserialize function on the parameters provided, particularly within the activity:ActivityDataGrid parameter. This flaw can be exploited using the magic __destruct method in the Guzzle HTTP library, leading to potential unauthorized access and manipulation of the system.
