What is CVE-2021-25803?
A buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the vlc_input_attachment_New component of VideoLAN VLC Media Player 3.0.11. It allows attackers to exploit the software by executing a crafted .avi file, which can lead to an out-of-bounds read. This could enable an attacker to access sensitive information or disrupt application functionality.
