What is CVE-2021-26237?

FastStone Image Viewer versions up to 7.5 are susceptible to a user mode write access violation when processing malformed CUR files. An attacker could exploit this flaw by tricking a user into opening a specially crafted CUR file, which may lead to Denial of Service disruptions or potentially allow unauthorized code execution within the application context.
