What is CVE-2021-26271?

A vulnerability exists in CKEditor 4 prior to version 4.16 that allows attackers to execute a ReDoS-type attack. This can be achieved by convincing users to paste specifically crafted text into the Styles input field of selected dialogs within the Advanced Tab for the Dialogs plugin. Exploiting this vulnerability can lead to significant denial of service, impacting the usability of the affected application.
