What is CVE-2021-26562?
An out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in the synoagentregisterd component of Synology DiskStation Manager versions before 6.2.3-25426-3. This flaw allows man-in-the-middle attackers to inject arbitrary code via the syno_finder_site HTTP header. Exploitation of this vulnerability could lead to unauthorized access and potential system compromise. Users are advised to upgrade to the latest version to mitigate any risks associated with this security issue.
