What is CVE-2021-26577?
The HPE Apollo 70 System’s Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) firmware contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability within the libifc.so uploadsshkey function. This flaw allows arbitrary data to be written beyond the bounds of allocated memory, potentially leading to unauthorized access or control over the affected system. Users of versions prior to 3.0.14.0 are advised to apply the latest firmware updates to mitigate this security issue.
