What is CVE-2021-27691?

A command injection vulnerability exists in Tenda G0 routers and Tenda G1 and G3 routers due to inadequate validation of user input. When a malformed action/setDebugCfg request is sent, it allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary operating system commands by leveraging the vulnerable 'formSetDebugCfg' function, which mishandles unsanitized input through glibc's system function. This flaw poses significant risks to the network's security and integrity, enabling unauthorized users to take control of the router's functions.
