What is CVE-2021-27965?

The MsIo64.sys driver in MSI Dragon Center versions prior to 2.0.98.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability. This flaw allows an attacker to exploit crafted IOCTL requests (specifically 0x80102040, 0x80102044, 0x80102050, or 0x80102054), potentially leading to privilege escalation. Users of affected versions are strongly advised to upgrade to mitigate this vulnerability.
