What is CVE-2021-28002?

A persistent cross-site scripting vulnerability was identified in the Excerpt parameter of Textpattern CMS version 4.9.0. This flaw permits remote attackers to inject arbitrary JavaScript code through a crafted payload inserted into the URL field. Exploitation of this vulnerability is triggered when users access the 'Articles' page, enabling attackers to execute malicious scripts in the context of the user's session, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data theft.
