What is CVE-2021-28842?
A null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in several TRENDnet wireless access points, which allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause a denial of service. The issue arises when a POST request is sent to the apply_cgi endpoint with a missing login_name key. This can lead to unexpected behavior and system crashes, impacting the availability of the device.
