What is CVE-2021-28845?

A null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in various TRENDnet wireless access points, including TEW-755AP and TEW-825DAP models. The flaw allows remote attackers to trigger a denial of service situation by sending a specially crafted POST request to the apply_cgi endpoint without including a valid language key. This unhandled null pointer can crash the device, leading to interrupted service and potential downtime.
