What is CVE-2021-28977?

A Cross Site Scripting vulnerability exists in GetSimpleCMS version 3.3.16, wherein an attacker could embed malicious scripts via comments or by manipulating the header information of jpg and other file formats. This exploitation occurs specifically in the admin/upload.php file, which processes uploaded file content, leading to potential unauthorized actions and data breaches through compromised web interactions.
