What is CVE-2021-29834?
IBM Business Automation Workflow and IBM Business Process Manager are subject to a stored cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows malicious actors to inject arbitrary JavaScript into the web user interface. This flaw enables the manipulation of the application’s functionality, which can lead to credential disclosure during a trusted user session. Users may inadvertently unknowingly execute harmful scripts when interacting with the compromised web UI, posing significant risks to sensitive information.
