What is CVE-2021-30354?
Amazon Kindle e-readers, specifically versions up to 5.13.4, are susceptible to an Integer Overflow that can trigger a Heap-Based Buffer Overflow when processing specially crafted PDF files. This flaw occurs in the CJBig2Image::expand() function and can result in memory corruption, potentially allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the device. Users are advised to update their devices to the latest version to mitigate this risk.
