What is CVE-2021-31320?
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability exists in the Telegram application across various platforms, including Android, iOS, and macOS. This issue is linked to the VGradientCache::generateGradientColorTable function within Telegram's custom implementation of the rlottie library. By sending specially crafted animated stickers, a remote attacker could potentially execute out-of-bound memory writes, compromising the affected devices and leading to arbitrary code execution or denial of service.
