What is CVE-2021-31476?

This vulnerability permits remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on susceptible installations of Foxit PhantomPDF 10.1.3.37598. It is triggered when a user visits a malicious webpage or interacts with a malicious file. The root cause lies within the handling of XFA templates, where failing to adequately validate the user-supplied data can result in a type confusion condition, allowing an attacker to execute code within the context of the current process.
