What is CVE-2021-31609?
The Bluetooth Classic implementation in Silicon Labs iWRAP 6.3.0 and earlier versions fails to appropriately manage oversized LMP packets exceeding 17 bytes. This flaw allows attackers within radio proximity to exploit the vulnerability by sending specially crafted LMP packets, which can lead to a crash of the WT32i device. Effective security measures should be implemented to mitigate the risks associated with this vulnerability.
